Looking for Viking Craft Jewelry Information!

My name is Jennifer and I have a fun story to share. I love silver jewelry, especially vintage jewelry. When my paternal grandmother, Ethel Sill, passed away, I was the lucky recipient of a few pieces of her jewelry. One piece in particular struck my fancy and I decided to do some research on it. The piece was a Viking Craft brooch in the form of a peacock with a lovely tail behind it. It was marked "Viking Craft Pat. Pend." and I became intrigued. I looked in some reference books and on the internet and was unable to find ANYTHING of any value or reference except that it was a line of jewelry made in the 1930s and 40s in New York City by a manufacturer named Alfred Horwig. Repeated attempts to find out more information about him have led nowhere as well. I did find one book author who mentioned that the pieces were of high quality and merited more notice in the collector's world. I started gathering pieces and have now established quite a comprehensive collection; it is rare that something comes up for sale that I do not already have. I would, however love to connect with other collectors of this jewelry line with the hopes of putting together a book or catalog (it would not be a money-maker, more a labor of love!). If you are interested in joining me, please connect with me here. If you have information about the company or the designers or (what a find that would be!!) a catalog or order form or something that lists something about the artist(s) and their work or pieces that you'd like to share with me, please connect with me here, too!
